According to data specialist Off-Highway Research, the global market for wheeled loaders reached almost 200,000 unit sales last year. Though these machines may move the Earth, the pace at which they are evolving is moving at different speeds around the world, as different markets have distinct requirements.

New wheeled loaders from John Deere

Original equipment manufacturer John Deere has launched three new L-Series utility wheeled loaders, the 524L, 544L and 624L.

Wheeled loader market returns to health

Global sales of wheeled loaders in 2018 are expected to reach more than 170,000 units for the first time in five years, according to a new report from specialist consultant and market forecaster Off-Highway Research.

Demand last year reached163,139 units, a 33% rise on 2016, and these machines had a retail value of US$14.8 billion (€12.73 billion).
