The latest Zaxis-6 range of Hitachi mini excavators can now be connected to Hitachi Construction Machinery’s remote monitoring system, Global e-Service. This allows owners access to operational data on their machines, which in turn helps to increase productivity, enhance efficiency, maximize availability and reduce running costs.
Its market-leading software platform enables Hitachi mini excavators to communicate with Global e-Service,
simplifying fleet management and maintenance for machine owners.
The software is available for all current Hitachi mini and compact machinery. It can also be retrofitted to previous generation models by the authorised Hitachi European dealer network.
This development perfectly epitomizes the ‘Connect with Hitachi’ theme of the HCME stand (FN/718) at Bauma. It not only illustrates how customers access a world of connectivity when they purchase a Hitachi machine, but also how HCME has linked up with another market leader to provide solutions that enhance the experience of customers using Hitachi machinery.
To celebrate the partnership, HCME President Makoto Yamazawa and ABAX CEO Morten Stand signed an agreement on 9 April at the exhibition in Munich.
HCME Manager Business Development Tom van Wijlandt commented: “Now the full range of Hitachi excavators is available with our unique remote monitoring system. As long as it has a Hitachi serial number, then it can be found on Global e-Service. We’re looking forward to expanding our offering and working with ABAX in the future.”
ABAX CEO Morten Strand said: “Our market-leading platform enables us to offer new opportunities and create mutual benefits for Hitachi, its dealers and customers. Hitachi is one of the market leaders in the construction equipment industry, and we are looking forward to a long-term partnership that will bring new developments and great opportunities going forward.”
